The second quarter of 2024 has been an intriguing period for self-therapy and journaling apps in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower's latest data provides us with a comprehensive look into how the top five apps in this category have fared. Here's a brief rundown of their performance.

Breeze: Mental Health saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking in mid-May at roughly $24K, but ended the quarter on a lower note at around $17K. Downloads started strong at nearly 8K in the first week of April but steadily decreased to just over 4K by the end of June. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, from around 46K to 36K.

For Me+ Daily Routine Planner, revenue saw a dip and then a spike in late May, reaching $16K, but generally hovered around the $10K mark. Downloads exhibited a gradual decline from 15K to 6K, while weekly active users decreased from 100K to 80K.

Day One Journal: Private Diary maintained a consistent revenue stream, with a slight uptick in late June to $6K. Downloads remained low, ranging from 1.2K to 1K, and weekly active users stayed around the 3K mark throughout the quarter.

Paired: Couples & Relationship showed a mixed revenue trend with a notable increase to $7.6K in the final week of June. Downloads saw a significant rise in the same week, from around 2.3K to 4.8K, while weekly active users peaked mid-June at 62K before settling at 63K.
